A valentine's day confession

The story goes like this... it was our 1st V-day in the college and none of us had a boyfriend (and had no intention to make any). When the whole campus was super-excited about Feb 14th, we were just roaming about getting pretty bored. Then one of my friend (yes, the naughtiest one) suggested we could plan some valentine’s day prank and have some fun. So we pitched in the money and brought a super V-card . As planned, we secretly hid the card in one of our classmate's bag and waited impatiently for her to find out. According to our script, she was supposed to ask us if we saw anyone opening her bag and we had right answers prepared. I swear, our only intention was to give her a pleasant surprise , do some teasing and then at the end of the day, give her a shock by admitting it was our prank. But instead we got the real shock, when she just hid the card, told no one and kept smiling mysteriously the whole day.

Things got out of hand, when the next day her friend told us Mr. X has kept a card in her friends bag and she always knew that the boy had an interest in her. We acted innocent and just nodded. None of us had the guts to tell her the truth. We prayed and hoped her parents wouldn't find out.

But as every story is supposed to have a happy ending.. a week later we saw them hanging out together and that was the beginning of a new love story in the campus.

 

To my partners-in-crime, sorry for giving away our secret after all these years. And to that classmate and Mr. X - if u r reading this, sorry for the late confession. We meant to do no harm. And to others out there, if u r wondering what happened to them ; well, they broke up in a week or so. Maybe they weren't meant to be together after all.

I can't remember anything that was taught in the classrooms but those many memories i made in the campus always puts a smile on my face. Every today is tomorrow's yesterday. Live every moment ,make them count, so that when you look back, you can smile :)
